Ok, so now we understand 4.0 and IIoT from my very detailed first blog (just kidding...)! I have to say that the past 2 weeks were even more interesting as far as learning goes. But what are we really talking about here? A new trend for some savvy tech guys to make millions and move on to the next trend? Or a true meaningful technology that will change people's life for a long time? Hold on there big fellaw! Not that easy of an analogy.

4.0 and IIoT…..of course! wait, what?

About 1 month ago, I meet Yannick Desmarais, CEO of Worximity, to talk about his business and see if there was a fit for me in his company. First, let me tell you that I don’t come from the technology industry and that my professional path is very unusual: 2 years as a trapeze instructor at Club Med, 20 years for an office furniture manufacturer and 6 years as a business owner in distribution and race promotion in the US. No experience in high tech whatsoever! I always told my wife that I missed my calling as I have had a passion for technology for many years. I am that “go-to” guy when your laptop or your iPhone has a problem. Our first meeting was in a great restaurant on McGill Street in Old Montreal and we just talked about what they do and who I know and how I could help. We felt right away that there was a fit, but we didn’t talk too much about their technology.
